The big guns are out as Heineken moves ad spend towards Facebook and Google over TV as it believes that is where the majority of its consumers and target audience hang out. So I suppose the question asked is whether TV has seen its day or is it still a viable place to spend advertising money? Thats a question for each individual marketing manager in companies today.

Heineken is shifting dollars from TV to Google and Facebook as the digital platforms become the new preferred way to reach mass audiences.
